For over two decades, Raymond Kelly has been producing beautiful and functional architectural creations for his clients. Starting in 1980, Kelly joined with Ed Sacher to form their first business, Kelly Sacher and Associates, eventually changing the name to AE Professional Group upon Mr. Sacher's retirement. As the new owner and principal of a full service architectural and engineering firm, Kelly managed a staff of architects, engineers, CAD technicians, and multiple support personnel.
Over the next 10 years, AEPG received design commissions from several government and corporate clients, jump starting their successful journey into commercial renovations. But in 1999, Kelly made a tough decision, liquidating his business and moving to Somerset, PA. In January 2000, Mr. Kelly registered with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and established RJ Kelly and Associates.
Responsible for amazing and functional commercial renovations across the Somerset county and Friedens, PA, area, RJ Kelly and Associates aims to provide their clients with accurate budgets and realistic end result expectations for their commercial renovation, residential addition and business allocation projects. Focused on functional, safe design, RJ Kelly and Associates prides itself on a small-firm feel, working hard to establish honest and lasting relationships with each client to ensure satisfaction and project success.
From the initial site selection, to design concepts and contractor hiring assistance, RJ Kelly and Associates will be with you every step of the way through your renovation or addition project.
As the owner and principal of RJ Kelly and Associates, Raymond J. Kelly understands that every renovation project is unique, and requires quality experience to see it through to success. After receiving his architectural degree from the New York Institute of Technology, Kelly served as an intern architect for a wide range of architectural firms, gaining the additional knowledge and experience necessary to excel on his licensing exam and become a successful, community oriented architect.
His memberships include the American Institute of Architects and Somerset County Zoning Board. He is also a certificate holder of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and is licensed in several states. In the past, he has served as a member of the Nassau/Suffolk Health System Agency, The Center for Barrier Free Design, and as a board member at his local church.
